Gateway to the ex-slaughter house

The ex-slaughterhouse now hosts a contemporary art museum and a small organic produce market.

  1. From a slaughterhouse to organic produce — now that's an exteme turnaround! Very interesting.

Lovely details over the gate. To me, it speaks of pride in their work and an appreciation for the wealth and gifts that their industry afforded them.

  2. Food and art. That's two out of three!

I bought a small art print at an art crawl on Friday. It says "Without art, we are but monkeys with car keys."
