i love reflected images in windows and this is amusing because he looks like he is reaching for a tin of cookies!
lola i wish i was able to come to roma but i hope you might be able to meet my sister when she comes in a few weeks -- i will email you separately ~ ciao bella ♡
I've been doing the low-carb Atkins Diet (which has been working great, by the way) so I'm not allowed much bread or sugar. Never realized how much I enjoyed those. It's difficult when I pass a pastry or bake shop. Like a recovering alcoholic passing by a liquor store, I guess.
-K- I stood outside the bakery, gazing in the window. I perceived a movement and I looked up. Reflected from the building behind me was a man opening his windows to air out the flat (and let the bakery aromas in). ~~~~~ Donald~ I've tried it too, and could not, absolutely not bring myself down to eliminating bread and pasta... ~~~~~ Jeff~ As in window pane? Ha ha ha ha... ~~~~~ Loree~ Me too. I'd be there so often that I'd probably end up getting a job there!
Thank you for visiting Roma Every Day. Your feedback is always hugely appreciated, though it is no longer possible for me to reply individually to your comments in the post thread.
This is a very nice capture ... very puzzling at first sight !
ReplyDeleteLove your reflections! I would love to live that close to a bakery and be able to smell fresh bread first thing in the morning! Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteSylvia
Lucky indeed! He must always have his nose full of delicious smells from the bakery!
ReplyDeleteOne cannot notice it is just a reflection.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend Eleonora.
Costas
Ooo he is very lucky indeed.
ReplyDeleteAprire le persiane, e il movimento di ogni mattina, purtroppo da fronte a casa mia manca il panettiere... :(

Thank you! I know, living that close to a bakery could present an issue for my waistline... :)

No wonder he's opening his windows... to let the wonderful bakery smells in!
Costas~
Grazie! You have a great weekend too, my friend.
Randy~
Ciao, thanks for stopping by!
Andras~
Se abitassi come questo signore davanti a quel panettiere, altro che aprire le finestre, calerei il panierino!
Buon weekend a tutti!
Interesting capture... I really enjoy the reflection of the man opening his shutters on the top of what is really inside of the display...
