If you're a follower of the Sunday Bridge Series hosted by my friend and coffee maven «Louis» at San Francisco Bay Daily Photo, you'll have seen this week's post, a fantastic Alameda twofer. I'm raising his drawbridge and footpath, by bidding my Roman "three-fer:" Ponte Sisto (top) and Ponte Principe Amedeo Savoia Aosta (above), both seen from Ponte Mazzini.

Buona Domenica a tutti.

  1. Fantastic, Eleonora!
«Louis» appreciates your participation in Sunday Bridges.

  2. hee hee...
You beat «Louis» with your "hat trick" - three in one!

  3. Eleanora...You go, girl. It is always fun to be the at the head of the class on any assignment. This shot is beautiful. I just love that old bridge in the background with its arched kind of bridge. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. We are going to get 4-6 inches of snow tonight. Man, is this getting real old!

  4. I can hear the water and the city in your photos. I am counting the days.

  5. Looks like it was a great day for a walk. Lovely photos.

  6. Nice views of some Roman bridges.

  7. Thank you all for your lovely comments! I'm happy you enjoyed this week's Roman bridges.
