giallo

It's forbidden to ride a vespa on the autostrada highway. Yet this fearless centaur does, and even succeeding in passing us. We were on our way down to Positano, driving through an area known for cameo carvings, volcanic lava tunnels, and lax traffic law enforcement.

  1. Hey, girl-

Who was driving while you were snapping?

  2. Italian STYLE!

I know Positano and the roads!
Be careful! I used the bus, and one time arrived by boat.

The best is arriving by boat, but alas the hydrofoils are no longer running at this time of year. I've been on these roads ever since I can remember...

Oh, he was so dandy! And the inside latch compartment was airbrushed with a blue postcard scene, can you see part of it in the photo? ;)

  5. Looks like it's probably a Vespa P-200 and even if all stock should have a top speed of around 75 mph or 120 kph. Nothing to sneeze at. I regularly ride mine on the highway -:)
