The Milvian Bridge has collapsed and been rebuilt so many times in its long history, that Romans colloquially call it "Ponte Mollo," the supple bridge. Click here for other Sunday Bridge thumbnails of participating photographers.
You did a great job of capturing the forward motion of the men on their motorbikes...especially the one in the rear. The statues at the entrance to the bridge are beautiful...so much detail. I cannot imaging it being called supple. I think of bridges as being very firm and ridge. The lovely round dome of the building in the background adds so much to the overall composition of the shot. I think you did a fine job here. You always give us such interest images to view.
Thank you for visiting Roma Every Day. Your feedback is always hugely appreciated, though it is no longer possible for me to reply individually to your comments in the post thread.
That's interesting. A bridge with a long history. Nice shot.
