ponte milvio

The Milvian Bridge has collapsed and been rebuilt so many times in its long history, that Romans colloquially call it "Ponte Mollo," the supple bridge.

  1. That's interesting. A bridge with a long history. Nice shot.

  2. You did a great job of capturing the forward motion of the men on their motorbikes...especially the one in the rear. The statues at the entrance to the bridge are beautiful...so much detail. I cannot imaging it being called supple. I think of bridges as being very firm and ridge. The lovely round dome of the building in the background adds so much to the overall composition of the shot. I think you did a fine job here. You always give us such interest images to view.

  5. I don't think I've ever seen that bridge before. How interesting - a bridge that collapsed many times:)
