il numero 3

tram stop

For more Ruby Tuesday images from around the world visit

  1. I thought trams were orange in Rome. Perhaps they changed the colour or I am mixing things up.

  2. I wouldn't mind waiting for the tram on such a beautiful sunny Italian Spring day!!

I'd like to have you visit with me today if you can. It's a special day for me and my husband...today we celebrate 42 years of marriage. My RUBY TUESDAY is HERE

  3. Loree~ Trams used to be green, then for a long time a pale orange and now have uniformed to the city's public transport red and grey. The #3 is a bus, but it uses the tram stop raised platform.
    Anni~ Happy anniversary and congratulations!!!

  4. The lady in the tram is not happy with your photoactivity!
Thank you for coming back and commenting in Moscow blog. The problem is there are too many Soviet symbols returning to Moscow on any occasion, they frighten me.

  5. I think I'd hope on just to see where the tram was going - could be an adventure!

  6. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who loves to surreptitiously snap photos of people on public transit.

  7. That woman does not look happy!

Felicitations on the 42nd anniversary, Anni. It reminds me of a funny book, "Hitchhikers's Guide to the Galaxy", in which the white mice (the beings highest intelligence) decided that "the secret to life, the universe, and everything else" is: 42.

I didn't take a tram or bus in Rome, just walked. But this reminds me of the Paris Metro. Which reminds me, Eleonora...?

  8. There are some nice reflections there too!

  9. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. I, too, have a dream of going up in a hot air balloon. :) Maybe we'll both get our dream someday.

I've never been to Italy, but hope to someday; my European travels have taken me elsewhere so far. Rome looks fascinating. Thanks for sharing your corner of the world.

  10. Irina~ My Russia is the one that still lives in the classic litearture Cechov, Tolsoy, Dostoevskij... I am enamoured. The rest I honestly don't know.
Leif~ Believe me, public transport in Rome is ALWAYS an adventure.
    AuntieE~ Thank you
Louciao~ I usually ask permission, but this bus was taking off... (sheepish)
Jeff~ Er, I think you fused 2 comments in one there... I do agree on Douglas Adams' 42 philosophy though.
Lois~ I was hoping someone would spot them!
Backy~ You have to come to Rome! Then maybe I can talk you into a Tuscan hot air balloon flight

  11. Your blog is a wonderful tribute and tour of the city your obviously love. I enjoy wandering through Rome with you as my tour guide in this blog.
I'm pleased that you enjoyed my view of Yosemite, I place I greatly love and visit often.

  12. Happy RT! What a great red on the tram. Your blog is fabulous-- I sent a link of it to my friend in OZ who teaches Italian-- I bet her students will really enjoy it.

  13. Red is red ! and there are even reflections, lol !

  14. Great shot... i like coming here, there's always something interesting for me to see.

    thank you
