Amo Piazza Navona. But not for the booths, merchants, hucksters, and stuff being sold. (A green blob of guck that you throw down on the ground and it goes splat, then reforms itself into a blob with eyes. Huh?) I love Borromini's church, and Bernini's fountains, the pavement stones that have felt the shoes (and bare feet) of history. Well, people need to make a living by selling stuff.
Thank you for visiting Roma Every Day. Your feedback is always hugely appreciated, though it is no longer possible for me to reply individually to your comments in the post thread.
Looks like my kind of art fair.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be there to look at the art and stroll around and then find a coffee with a biscotti!
