seduti
I missed posting for Theme Day yesterday, because I totally forgot it was July 1st. I however posted Green doors on my other blog a few days ago, totally unaware that 'green' was going to be the July theme. I must be some sort of psychic...
Today I spent the morning in the park, relaxing under the shade provided by umbrella pines and European sycamores. Here are some images of others doing the same.

ReplyDeleteHmmm.... I thought I knew Rome well, but I can't place these scenes... or is my memory just getting fuzzy?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful relaxing park - even the pond looks green!
ReplyDeleteLinda~
ReplyDeleteI did indeed! Thanks friend.
Emom~
Grazie :)
Frank~
Both taken at Villa Borghese, one is the Giardino del Lago, the bottom one at the Casina dell'Orologio cafe on the Pincio :)
Dianne~
Did you see the little row boat on the pond? Bliss...
Ah, summer.
ReplyDeleteThe lake was dry when I was there. I was confused looking at my map. "Where's the lake? It's supposed to be right here!")
Jeff~
ReplyDeleteThis lake never dries, it's an artificial pind built in the 1600s. The one you saw might have been the round fountain by the pincio. This is the Giardino del Lago, just northwest of it...
:)
I will seek this pond out next time I am in Rome. How lovely!
