condominio

{they've got m@il}

This fairly large northern Rome apartment building, made up of 4 palazzine, has its mailboxes in the communal outside courtyard. Each walnut wood mailbox displays beautifully polished brass nametags and glass windows below each slot.

  1. Wish I had a P.O. box as neat as those. Mine is so boring.

  2. These mailboxes are fine made - in Denmark mailboxes have to be placed near the road so the still fewer mailmen will reach more adresses in lesser time.

  6. I love pretty design in the simplest, every day things. See Eric's Paris Daily Photo for another example of good design. Nice photo, E.

  7. What a wonderful shot. I'm curious, if you know, when these apartments were built. You don't see such beautifully crafted mailboxes like these anymore. Mine's made out of some cheap metal--oh well.
