mandarini e biciclette

No deliveries today

It keeps raining in the Eternal City. It hasn't stopped for days.
These bicycles used for environment-friendly delivery of ordered goods are momentarily on hold. The man in the store entrance is checking the weather, because... he's the biker.

  1. Looks like some yummy fruit for sale! Mr. Montermini, originally from Roma, became a client of mine in my office yesterday! Ciao!

  2. Delicious looking image! Stay dry if you can. It's raining again in Seattle and looks to do so for the next week or so.

  3. Not the best type of bicycles to use with wet streets: no fenders!

  4. A small inconvenience. The rain will stop; the mandarins will be delivered; the bins replenished. Life at the corner keeps on.

  5. I embrace the rain. It makes things fresh and clean. It sparkles in the tree branches and best of all it isn't snow.

  6. Great composition, is a very familiar image for us in Mexico City, the same kind of color and plastic boxes adapted in bikes for delivering! Happy Holidays.

  7. Oh, what's a little rain to a cyclist? People all over Europe (and a few here in the US) use them for every day transportation. Think of Amsterdam. Nevertheless, the big pop of color from the fruit on a gray day makes the weather more bearable.

Thanks for following St. Louis Daily Photo. My time is spread pretty thin and I don't get to look at all the new blogs. I'm glad you introduced me to yours - very good work.
